Ciudad Bolivar and the flight to Canaima

amxThe trip to the world's hightest Angel falls usually begins in Ciudad Bolivar from where people fly to Canaima and then go to the falls by boat.

Поездка на самый высокий в мире водопад Анхель обычно начинается в городе Сьюдад Боливар, откуда летят в Канайму, и дальше плывут на лодке к водопаду.

On Sunday the city looks dead, everything is closed, no people in the streets, everyone is afraid of each other. I wanted to catch a taxi in the evening, but they didn't stop. Then a police car stopped and took me where I needed, they said catching taxi was dangerous.
В воскресенье город выглядит как вымерший, всё закрыто, людей на улице нет, все друг друга боятся. Хотел вечером поймать такси - не останавливаются. Остановилась полицейская машина и довезла меня куда надо - опасно, говорят, такси ловить.

Only at the Orinoko riverside there is some life, but even that finishes early.
Лишь на набережной Ориноко можно происходит некоторая жизнь, но и та рано заканчивается.

We flied to Canaima on a small six-seated airplane. The baggage allowance is very limited. However, they still loaded the plane with a lot of useful stuff.
В канайму летим на маленьком шестиместном самолёте. Вес багажа сильно ограничен. Однако, это не мешает взять в самолёт массу полезного груза.
